Creative Restorative Practice Services, LLC is an educational services consulting company specializing in developing a framework to help schools become more restorative, build stronger relationships with students and staff, and foster positive learning environments.
At Creative Restorative Practice Services, LLC, we started with a simple idea: to make restorative education accessible to everyone. We believe that education is a fundamental right and should not be limited by behavior barriers. That's why we offer instruction and interventions on how to repair harm when it occurs in your community.
Our philosophy is plain and simple. We believe in strengthening relationships amongst persons, assisting the development of healthy communities and providing restorative solutions to repairing harm when it occurs in a school or in an organization.
The framework is a master plan on how to implement Restorative Practices from the initial steps to the final evaluation phases. We offer organized Restorative Practice Services which are designed to assist educators and other organizations with a Train the Trainer Model for schools and alternative programs.

As educators and parents with two growing children, we experienced our sons being subject to punitive exclusionary practices in school. We too were called as parents to come and remove our sons from the school environment due to issues such as "horseplay." We did not realize until many years later, that we would provide a service to help families prevent the experience we endured.
As a School Social Worker, 13 years ago, my school principal requested that I meet with him regarding Required Parent Conferences (RPC) as well as Suspensions and Expulsions that were occurring on our high school campus. He explained that the students were surveyed. The results were overwhelming-- students were concerned about how discipline was being handled on campus. They stated that students were often sent home and missing school due to behavior issues.
My school principal invited me and few of my fellow educators to a conference to learn more about the Restorative Practice concept. We attended several breakout sessions and were introduced to Restorative Practice fundamentals. Prior to returning to campus, we organized a plan to address our student concerns. After implementing several Restorative Practice principles, we started to experience success repairing harm in our school community.
After eight years working as School Social Worker and Restorative Practice Facilitator, I was contacted by Clark County School District. I was asked to help the Education Services/Equity and Diversity Departments spearhead the implementation of Restorative Practices districtwide. I was honored to share my expertise and bring an understanding of Restorative Practices to the fifth largest school district in the United States.
As I approached 30 years of Child Welfare and Education experience, I decided to retire. However, I felt that my purpose was not concluded. So, in 2021, my wife and I decided to open Creative Restorative Practice Services, LLC. Utilizing the experience we gained throughout the years, we were able to design and organize a framework for educators and organizations to implement Restorative Practices with fidelity.
